Hitachi S-450 SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope)  This microscope is being retired from our facility.  It runs, however, there is a heating issue with the filament.  The issue we believe is located in the controls to the column head.  We have schematics to do this.  The detector and EDS are not included with the unit.   Unit comes "as is" with no expressed or implied warranties.  Price $4000.  Hitachi 450 pictures below.

The detector is also for sale. It is a light element detector.  The FET gave considerable noise and no peak was detected.  The FET needs rebuilding. We can suggest where you can have this done.  It still will be much cheaper than buying a new detector. Price is $2000.
